For our first weekend, we figured we should enjoy the beautiful Seattle summer weather by taking a mini-road trip down to Mt. Rainier. After seeing it from the edge of Red Square on the UW campus, sitting right above Drumheller Fountain, we were excited for what was in store. Of course being the young energetic people that we are, we decided to hike the most arduous and longest trail, and ended up at this view these two guys are candidly enjoying!
Just kidding. We took the shortest possible trail and called it quits when we saw this view of Mount Rainier! Definitely worth it.
Which view would you guys say is better?! The photo doesn’t give it justice. Either way, we Californians really appreciated the natural beauty that Washington has to offer.
We’re excited to be going to be on a lot more of these trips throughout the year, hope you guys can join next time!
