Early Fall Start (pt.2)

Early Fall Start excitement continues, time to hit you with some updates about all that's been going on!

First, we welcomed a new sister to our staff! Jamie Cha everybody whoooo! We're so thankful for all of our staff who are willing to leave behind friends, leaders, and all the comforts of home because they want to bring the Gospel to the students here at UW.

Our weekly bible studies are still going on, each week we've been going through a famous Bible passage and discussing some of the lessons from it. It's been a great experience to wrestle with some of the ideas in the Bible, and we've had some lively discussions to understand what it's saying.

We've been doing various fun things afterwards! Two weeks ago, we checked out a new ice cream place downtown by the Pike Place Market, called Shug's Soda Fountain. We treated ourselves to some delicious ice cream cones and sundaes. Usually eating ice cream is a laid-back, uneventful affair - just don't take any of Colten's

One year ago, we had our very first Labor Day picnic at Magnusson, and this year we did it again! It's crazy to think that one year ago, we came with the first EFS students that we had met. Now we were back with some of our own sophomores, and a crop of new freshmen. We grilled, played sports, and enjoyed a day outside.

This past Friday, we had our usual TFN and afterwards hit Gasworks for some Glow-in-the-Dark Ultimate Frisbee! It was awesome being able to play with the Seattle skyline in the backdrop. It was a perfect summer night, and afterward's we went to Dick's Drive-In for some late-night burgers and shakes!

ALRIGHT just wanted to do something fun: Use the emojis at the end of this article to vote who's enjoying their food more!

Can't believe EFS is almost over, Dawg Daze is finally here next week! Catch you guys soon.
